$100,000.00 - $130,000.00What’s the role?
The Senior People Systems Analyst will be the primary support role for Workday, a techno-functional expert with with an in-depth understanding of current functionality and design concepts, particularly focusing on Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Workforce Planning, Performance Enablement, and other integrated talent tools. This role will also have the responsibility for evaluating current functionality and downstream impacts with consultative recommendations for enhancements, while delivering on the needs for the People & Workplace team and partnerships with the global Payroll, Finance, IT and other relevant teams across Etsy & HoB to drive alignment for an exceptional People System(s) end-user experience.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior People Systems Manager. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.
This role requires your presence in Etsy’s Brooklyn Office once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. What does the day-to-day look like?
Provide ongoing production support to the business regarding application functionality and data integrity, including identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of critical production issues, enhancements, and year-end evergreen processes.
Triage/Analyze use cases, business requirements, identify gaps, develop/create business requirement documents, and translate business requirements into effective and efficient functional design specifications and application configuration solutions.
Partner, educate and guide users on effective and efficient approaches to implementing new features and provide technical guidance for testing/adoption of new features and functionality.
Assist with security role identification, assignment, and maintenance.
Conduct internal data and security audits and participate in internal audit reviews.
Collaborate with the People Systems Team and business partners to identify system improvements and enhancements while recommending and implementing viable solutions including supporting deployment and testing of changes
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and Workday support partners. Coordinate with other teams as needed for the successful execution of projects.
Manage daily Workday Talent System(s) operation, business process configuration and production support for Etsy and HoB for managing the effects of planned system enhancements on current business processes within the system
Provide consultative guidance to the People Analytics Team to aid in the delivery of robust reporting including dashboards, delivered analytics, and requested reports (i.e. quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting requirements).
Accountable for driving project timelines and progress to ensure deadlines are met by both internal and external stakeholders and adapt work as needed
Stay abreast of HR technology best practices and evolving Workday technologies to cross-functionally maintain expertise and make recommendations for enhancements.
Leverage consultative technical and industry knowledge by participating in Workday Community and other cohorts to remain abreast of evolving technologies & newest trends

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on functional and technical experience providing support for Talent Systems, Talent Programs, HR Operations, and Vendor Management.
Expertise in performance enablement, recruitment/selection, strategy, branding, and metrics.
Proficiency in Workday is essential, with a focus on the Core HCM module, Recruiting, Talent Planning, Performance Management, Vendor Management platforms, Security, and Reporting.
Experience with Vndly and Workday Learning is a plus.
Cross-functional project management support experience, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
Strong technical proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills), with the flexibility to navigate multiple data sources and systems.
Preferred experience working in a high-tech or high-growth environment.
Highly developed troubleshooting skills, including tenacity and investigative abilities to identify the root cause of problems.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to inspire and build trust, fostering effective working relationships across Etsy and HoB.
Proven ability to operate successfully in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Functional experience with Workday Integrations related to Talent Systems applications, including CRM, Vendor Management, Assessments, and other third-party tools.
Be a creative problem solver, collaborative cross-functional partner and love helping users to be proactive in understanding system trends and business models while increasing end-user adoption. The goal is to drive initiatives to drive data integrity and model ideas into real plans.
