Local Hybrid
Local Hybrid mode requires employees to work from their local Hub Office (Brooklyn, Mexico City, or Dublin) at least two days per week.
Local Hybrid Mode comes with great perks like in office meals and snacks, access to IT equipment and the ability to expense home office equipment to support you when working from home. Local Hybrid means 2+ times in the office per week, but additional visits may be expected depending on team needs. Of course, Local Hybrid employees can utilize our office spaces more often if they wish to.
Regional Hybrid
Regional Hybrid mode requires employees to work from their local Hub office (Brooklyn, Mexico City or Dublin) at least once a week.
Regional Hybrid Mode also comes with great perks like in office meals and snacks, access to fun office events, IT equipment, and the ability to expense home office equipment. Regional Hybrid means 1+ times in the office per week, but additional visits may be expected depending on team needs. Of course, Regional Hybrid employees can utilize our office spaces more often if they wish to.
Remote
Based on your role, function and location, you may have the opportunity to work remotely from the US, Canada, Ireland, the UK, Mexico, or India.
Remote employees are required to visit an Etsy Hub Office 2-6 times per year. Our Remote Mode also offers great benefits like co-working credits, access to IT equipment, and virtual health and wellness offerings available to all employees.
30 Days Away
On top of our flexible work model, our 30 Days Away offering provides employees with the opportunity to switch things up and work from another location for an extended time, after completing their first 90 days with Etsy. Whether Local Hybrid, Regional Hybrid, or Remote, all employees can work from a wide selection of different locations for up to 30 consecutive calendar days each year!
Our Workplace Safety Policy
The health and safety of our teams is our top priority. Below are the health and safety measures being taken in all of our offices.
- Masks are not required in Etsy offices, but all offices remain mask-friendly zones. We offer masks, rapid antigen tests, and hand sanitizer in all our offices.
- We also maintain regular cleaning of the offices. Etsy has enhanced cleaning frequencies and disinfection standards for our offices. Desks, rooms, and open areas are cleaned and disinfected regularly.
- We prioritize healthy air quality by maximizing fresh air intake and high filtration methods, while ensuring energy efficiency.
To help us operate safely, we’ll continue to monitor conditions in each of our global locations. If there are new COVID-19 variants of concern or surges that warrant community action, we’ll adjust our policies accordingly.
