$194,000.00 - $252,000.00What’s the role?
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Group Product Manager to lead our Experimentation Platform and Science initiative, including experimentation science and our internal A/B test tool.
As the Group PM, Experimentation, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and execution of the platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our company and contributes significantly to our product development culture. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Product, Data Enablement and the base salary range will be 202,000.00 - 262,000.00 USD per year. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.
For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub may be the first to be considered. For candidates within commutable distance, Etsy requires in-office attendance once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. Enablement at Etsy is a group that supports internal teams. We build the platforms and tools for Data Science, Experimentation, Personalization, Product Development and our infrastructure is used by every engineering team. We measure our successes with adoption, reliability, and product development efficiency, and we are always looking ahead to be the foundation for product innovation and growth. Experimentation is the foundation of building and launching products at Etsy and the XPS initiative builds the end-to-end platform, including experimentation configuration, setup, data processing, statistical analysis, analysis, and reporting of experimentation. We’re a remote-friendly team, with members in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
What does the day-to-day look like?
Develop and articulate a clear vision for the internal experimentation platform, aligning with Etsy and Enablement's overall goals. Formulate a strategic plan to expand experimentation capabilities and drive innovation across product teams.
Directly manage two Staff Product Managers, fostering an environment of growth and excellence.
Work closely with customers across the company to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into the product direction. Influence the company's product development culture through standard methodologies and guidelines in experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
Partner with cross-functional leaders and be accountable for the overall impact of the experimentation platform, including improving product discovery, decision-making, and product leadership. Measure and report on the platform's efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:
A proven track record in leading product teams, especially in the domain of experimentation or related fields. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
Experience managing IC product managers is required, especially experience in mentoring and developing talent.
Excellent strategic vision with the ability to translate long-term strategy into actionable plans. Capable of balancing short-term needs with long-term vision.
Possess deep knowledge in the area of experimentation, including the technical, scientific, and strategic aspects. Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative methodologies into our practices.
Comfortable working closely with engineering and design teams.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse teams.
Strong execution skills with a focus on delivering results. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
