What’s the role?

We're looking for an outstanding product leader to help drive buyer frequency within our Growth organization at Etsy. You will partner closely with design, engineering, research, and analytics to develop a strategy and roadmap to bring buyers back to Etsy more often! Etsy is a two-sided marketplace with millions of sellers and tens of millions of buyers, so the problems we're tackling are complex. We need someone who can dig deep to uncover new opportunities to move the needle for the business and our sellers, all while building a world-class shopping experience for buyers. It's an incredible opportunity to have massive impact at scale.

This role is part of the Buyer Frequency initiative within the Growth organization. The Growth org is passionate about getting more buyers to experience the joy of shopping on Etsy more often. We work across the full buyer journey and across all platforms to identify the highest impact opportunities for our buyers and sellers. We partner closely with both the Marketing and the broader Product organization, and operate with an emphasis on rapid learning and iteration.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Staff Product Manager. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.

For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub or in the San Francisco Bay Area may be the first to be considered. For candidates within commutable distance, Etsy requires in-office attendance once or twice

What does the day-to-day look like?

• Craft a vision, define a roadmap, and prioritize product features via opportunity sizing, experimentation, and continuous iteration
• Collaborate with outstanding designers, engineers, user researchers, and data scientists to identify customer problems, test hypotheses, and build products that keep Etsy shoppers coming back
• Design experiments and track key health metrics to measure progress and impact, communicate plans and updates to cross-functional partners and leadership, and drive the execution and delivery of your team's roadmap

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role:

• Experience defining product strategy and building roadmaps with a focus on driving impact
• Successfully delivering business and customer value by executing in a fast-paced environment
• Curiosity for solving two-sided marketplace challenges
• A love for harnessing quantitative and qualitative data to tackle challenging problems, and experience running A/B tests
• Great communication and listening skills that enable you to build relationships with team members by developing empathy and trust, and influencing without authority
