What’s the role?
Etsy is seeking a Vendor Management Analyst to join our team and help manage administrative responsibilities that directly impact the productivity of our IT and Security teams leading to a positive impact on the enterprise organization.
Your primary responsibility is helping deliver value in the area of IT Procurement. The tools the IT and Security teams are responsible for are used everyday by Etsy employees. We’re looking for people who excel at working with others, challenge the status-quo, and are extraordinary problem-solvers. This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, Engineering. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.
For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub or in the San Francisco Bay Area may be the first to be considered. For candidates within commutable distance, Etsy requires in-office attendance once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. This team is all about making things work smoothly behind the scenes, focusing on IT Procurement to support Etsy’s employees and operations. What does the day-to-day look like?
You will be responsible for vendor management, working with IT and Security leadership on items including issuing purchase orders, tracking vendor payments, and actively managing vendor relationships
You will be responsible for helping to track IT and Security vendor contract lifecycles, vendor onboarding, POs, returns and credits. You will also be responsible for some AOP/budgeting management, setting vendor expectations, ensuring processes are efficient, and vendor offboarding
You will assist with ordering, receiving, and tracking the procurement of new IT equipment and services, managing the administrative tasks in Coupa and Workday, and assisting the teams in IT with managing inventory
You will track IT and Security software licenses and manage usage through the process of audits and license topoffs or reductions
You will assist in creating documents on procedures, policies, technical instructions and other processes, especially as related to licensing and procurement
You will assist in projects, both large and small, related to procurement (examples: implement a punch out system, move from lease to buy model, etc)
This team performs all or a portion of these responsibilities to for Etsy’s House of Brands organization
You will assist the IT and Security leadership teams’ ability to deliver, make a positive impact on the business, and solve business problems.
