$154,000.00 - $200,000.00What’s the role?
We are seeking a product manager to join our team focused on the modernization and enhancement of key surface areas in our shopping marketplace app.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead efforts to improve the user experience on core app surfaces while also ensuring they are built using modern frameworks and adhere to our design systems. You will also collaborate closely with our design systems team to implement and own transitions, animations, and motion design, ensuring they align with UX best practices and elevate the overall app experience.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Group Product Manager. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.
For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub or in the San Francisco Bay Area may be the first to be considered. For candidates within commutable distance, Etsy requires in-office attendance once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. Enablement at Etsy is a group that supports internal teams. We build the platforms and tools for Data Science, Experimentation, Personalization, Product Development and our infrastructure is used by every engineering team. We measure our successes with adoption, reliability, and developer effectiveness, and we are always looking ahead to be the foundation for innovation and growth. The User Experience Foundations teams enable designers and developers to build cohesive user experiences through our design system and modern app architecture. This team collaborates closely with App Enablement, who enable engineers to build Etsy Apps with modern and consistent tools and practices by investing in app architecture, quality signals, delivery mechanisms, and education.
What does the day-to-day look like?
Define and execute the roadmap to deliver high-quality, user-centered features that enhance engagement and usability on core app surfaces.
Collaborate with the design systems team to implement and maintain standards for transitions, animations, and motion design across the app.
Define OKRs and track progress against them, communicate plans and updates to cross-functional partners and leadership, and drive the execution of your roadmap to hit your team’s goals.
Develop hypotheses and lead experiments to test and validate new ideas, iterating based on data and user insights.
Stay informed about emerging technologies, mobile development trends, and UX best practices to guide product decisions.

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:
Proven experience as a product manager delivering features and improvements for mobile apps on iOS and Android.
Knowledge of SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, or other modern UI frameworks.
Experience working with tools like Figma, Storybook, React and component libraries.
Familiarity with UX principles, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making.
Deeply inquisitive and a desire to understand the “why”
Ability to empathize with the customer and understand their needs
Experience working with design systems teams or implementing motion and animation in app interfaces, is a plus
